OUR STORY
Already as a kid Christopher was passionate about craftsmanship, he did not know yet what he will build but already as a 5 year old he would carry his little hammer everywhere he would go. In 80s when the times weren’t so pinky in Poland, as a young adult Christoph decided to move to Denmark. There he fall in love with deeply rooted in Danish culture appreciation for design, and discovered his passion for designing and crafting furniture. At beginning of 90s, when the big changes begun in his home country, and impossible become possible, he decided to comeback home and open furniture factory to presume his new dream – to create furniture which would astonish people with its simplicity, aesthetics and comfort.
Our Story
And the journey began… from being the very first carpenter in small artisan workshop, which used to be his greenhouse, to being CEO and Product Developer of OLTA 28 years later. Company profile
Through the years, OLTA grew from small artisan workshop into manufacturer with more industrialized character while continuing to expand its international presence. Successful result of the company is purly build out of passion, creativity and commitment of the co-founders. Their aim was always to remain a family owned business, along this idea the representatives of second generation, Christopher’s two daughters, were introduced into business, bringing new dynamic and personal voice into the company.
